This comes in gel packs - a lot like the dishwash gel packs, if you've used those and are a fan of those. I am. Gel packs are easy to just toss in, which is why I like them, because I'm lazy. That admitted, if you ever get a wet hand and are too lazy to dry it off, and you reach in a bag....beware, you can ruin the whole bag because the outer 'skins' dissolve fairly easy if you ever get them wet. Likewise, If you are in the deep south, where there's a lot of humidity, and your laundry room is un-airconditioned, you may want to keep these elsewhere, as I've had these gel packs stick together when left out in the laundry room in Georgia.Gel pack issues aside, the stain booster is very easy and I loved the smell. It left my laundry smelling extra fresh and didn't conflict with my cheap highly scented laundry detergent's fragrance. I found this Tide product to be a good addition to my laundry arsenal. I have used several types of boosters and this one beats them on my young grandson's clothes, removing chocolate and juice stains completely. I also noticed that a few older washed stains did not disappear, but faded quite a bit. The load contained pretty pink outfits with grass stains, chocolate ice cream stains, a whole lot of mud on white tank tops, ketchup stains, and spaghetti sauce stains. I didn't pre-treat any of the stains.I washed them in cold water,[...] along with a Stain Release Pac. All of the stains were removed on the first wash. I am amazed that I didn't have to sit and rub a stain stick on the individual stains. I recommend this to everyone with children, or anyone who gets stains on their clothing.
