My husand and I have tried everything. We washed our towels with several different types of washing liquid and powder, but no luck. Anyway, I refused to be embarrassed by "smelly towels" when guests visit (which is often), so I thought I would give this product a try. It was the answer to my prayer. The smell is gone and does not return when the towels get wet. My towels are just like new and it doesn't fade the dark towels. If you have "smelly" towels, please give this stuff a try before you waste your money on new ones.
