I wasn't sure that they would work as well as regular detergent, but they work just as well. I've been using 2 of them in my high efficiency washer for almost a month now and they are still cleaning the clothes well. I always hated struggling with heavy detergent bottles.I am not strong, have shoulder problems and also have arthritis in my hands, so it was extremely difficult to handle large, heavy bottles. With these balls you just toss them in the washing machine and turn the washing machine on. The best way is to put them directly below where the water flows hard if you want to see the suds generated. After the washing machine fills an eighth or so with water I add my laundry. They also last a long time so are very cost efficient. I think Oxy powered detergent is wonderful and these make everything so easy! It sure cuts down on purchasing the expensive liquid or box detergent. I do not use these when using bleach in the whites. These have lasted for EVER!I would recommend and they would be wonderful in a college dorm gift bag or house warming gift! |
