They are.......kind of..... Here's the pro's. The box is relatively inexpensive, good bang for the buck. One little sheet produces quite a bit of suds so I know the clothes are getting clean. The box is small and light and are a million times better than dragging home the big heavy liquid variety. The cons? Only one I can think of so far, I have a light blue, wrinkle free dress shirt that is poly/rayon and after washing three times there were multiple dark stains on the shirt. I have no idea what is causing this as it isn't happening to any of my other dress shirts that are the same blend. Then again, those shirts are a lot darker in color and I may not be seeing the stains. I ended up throwing the shirt away, it was old and not in the best shape anyway. What a great idea! After about 10 loads of laundry I was raving to friends and family members about these great 3 in 1 sheets. In less than a week my washing machine was not draining properly. I have a new front loading he washer, which these sheets are labeled safe for. I had a plumber come out and snake my line. This did not solve the problem. I then had to have a washing machine repair man come out to look at my washer. For some reason or another 3 of these sheets were sucked into the pump of my washer. This never should have happened. These "great" 3 in sheets ended up costing me over $350 in repair bills. I contacted the Purex with no resolve. Please be careful with these sheets! I learned the hard way. Then shortly after running a few loads I came to realize that it was leaving oil spots on all of my husband's work shirts as well as my daughter's school uniform tops. 17 shirts total. When I contacted Customer Support they basically told me too bad. I was told some clothing is prone to spotting from their product. Would be nice if this was communicated BEFORE I purchased their product and used it on our work/school clothes. DO NOT BUY this product unless you want to have to replace your clothing. The best part is that their customer service department blamed the mess up on ME. After doing some research I am one of many people with the same problem.
